I said I'd mention a little about spirituality, and it may not be what you are expecting. What I will mention is quite simply this: every aspect of your life is spiritual, whether you think about it or not. Everyone and everything around you is an aspect of spirituality, and all of your pains, trials, and tribulations are aspects of spirituality flowing through your life. Spirituality can become kinda mundane, and that is the magic of it all—that the miracle of your life continues unimpeded, even though you hardly give any conscious thought to it.
I no longer believe in the old religions, as they are too limiting, and have caused more than enough bloodshed in this world. True spirituality is seeing that each of us is a part of this miracle of existence, and we are all in this together. When you see that everyone you meet has something in common with you, no matter how wierd their way of life is, or how many mistakes they have made, you are starting to recognize your own true spirituality. If you take this a little farther, and remind people of their own spirituality with a simple smile, you are helping to heal this war-torn world, and make this place a little better for all of us.
Don't take that to mean that you should always smile. Sometimes a good old scowl is a thousand times better than a smile, because it lets people know what you really think, and that can lead to positive change much faster than superficial pretentions.
I wish you the best in your own spiritual quest. Now I'm going to rejoin the mundane, spiritual world. Maybe I'll be smiling!
